The Tuition Fee Unit

Summer Studies Season

Some University departments hold summer studies.

The tuition fee for the summer studies season is according to the number of hours the student is enrolled to study. The minimum payment is for 2 semester hours / 1 semester unit.

Students and candidates commencing /renewing their studies in the summer studies season will also be charged the ancillary fees, in addition to payment of the base tuition fee.

The fee rate per semester hour in a bachelor’s degree is 5% of the full annual tuition fee (the fee rate for a semester hour in the summer semester is higher than the fee rate in the academic year. The tuition fee is calculated from the full tuition fee without any reduction).

The fee rate in a master’s degree is identical to the fee rate during the year, but not less than 7.5%.

In the Faculty of Management, the fee rate per semester hour in a master’s degree is 5% (each semester unit = 2 semester hours). The price for 1 semester unit = 10% of the tuition fee.

In a master’s degree with inbuilt study tracks where up to 4 semesters in the standard years are studies, the price for a semester hour is identical to the ongoing year. Details can be found in the faculties.

Students participating in an intermediate or advanced level English course during the summer studies season will pay for the course separately, in addition to payment of the tuition fee.

Exact details about the tuition fee, payment dates and the other regulations on the summer studies season will be updated prior to the beginning of the semester. The updated regulations are sent by email to the students studying in the faculties holding studies in the summer semester.
