University of Toronto Chancellor Michael Wilson and President Meric Gertler hosted a private reception for Tel Aviv University Board of Governors Chairman Jacob Frenkel and President Yossi Klafter to celebrate a joint research initiative between TAU and the Munk School of Global Affairs at U of T. The study, "Comparative Inquiry of the Distributional Outcomes of Innovation Policy with a Focus on Israel," explores the relationship between knowledge economies and widening income gaps. The dinner, which was attended by Canadian Friends of TAU who support the TAU-Munk research project, also included discussion of future areas for collaboration such as brain sciences, urban studies and medicine.
