In an effort to provide the leaders of Jewish Toronto's young professional community with an opportunity to build business relationships and mingle with like-minded professionals, the CFTAU Alumni & Leadership Committee held their first networking and Hanukkah party, Secret to my Success, at Toronto’s Thompson Hotel. The gathering enabled professionals and entrepreneurs to converge in a relaxed atmosphere, and hear from some of the most well-known and respected community and business leaders.

Amongst the guest speakers in attendance were gourmet foods entrepreneur, Rose Reisman, TAU International alumni and co-founder of MJK Capital, Michael Kimel, and President of Sky Investment Counsel Inc. and author of the best-selling fictional Holocaust story My Mother's Secret, Jennifer Witterick.

"This event, the first organized by the Canadian Friends of Tel Aviv University Alumni & Leadership Committee, was an exciting opportunity to bring together alumni, friends and supporters to learn from our dynamic group of panellists while at the same time raising funds to support the CFTAU Scholarship Fund," says Stephen J. Adler, Executive Director of Ontario and Western Canada at CFTAU.
