Breakdown of tuition fee and ancillary fees

Starting in the 2018-2019 academic year, students for a bachelor’s or master’s degree will pay NIS 10 a year to the national representative student organization.

 

The amount of NIS 10 to be paid will be added to the first installment / prepayment for the 2023-2024 academic year.

 

The organization will act to promote the rights of the student public in Israel and is officially recognized by the state institutions.

 

Below is the decision of the Council for Higher Education:

 

1. In 2016 the Student Rights Law, 2007 (hereinafter, the “Law”) was amended in which the status of the national representative student organization was established by legislation. By virtue of its authority under section 21 A (c) of the Law, the Director General of the Council for Higher Education recognized the National Union of Israeli Students (Registered Association) as the national representative student organization.

 

2. By virtue of his authority under section 21 E (a) of the Law, the Council for Higher Education enacted the Council for Higher Education (Payment to a National Representative Student Organization) Rules, 2018. The Rules which entered into effect on June 18, 2018 provide that the amount a student studying at an institution for higher education is required to pay for a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree or engineering degree to the national representative student organization will be 10 New Israeli Shekels a year.
