Using the zebrafish model and advanced technologies, our lab's current research explores various aspects of the circadian clock, including its function, development, synchronization and localization, as well as organization of the circadian clock system and its significance in the life of the organism. Additional research areas include the hypothalamic regulation of food intake, and zebrafish-based models for studying rare genetic diseases.
Our methodologies encompass molecular genetics in the whole organism, transgenesis and gene manipulation, genome-wide analyses, and behavioral studies.
