Dr. Yael Millgram joined the School of Psychological Sciences as a faculty member in 2023. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed her postdoctoral training at Harvard University. Yael received the Rothschild and the Fulbright postdoctoral fellowships and was awarded the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Global Fellowship granted by the European Union. Yael studies the role of emotion and emotion regulation in depression, self-harm and suicide. Her research combines behavioral, physiological and ecologically-valid methods in daily life to understand whether and how emotion regulation is impaired in these clinical populations.
