Dr. Tsur studies the ways in which individuals perceive and experience their body following trauma. She investigates posttraumatic orientation towards bodily signals, and its link with long-term health related trauma ramifications. Dr. Tsur is especially interested in acute and chronic pain, and the way it is linked with trauma, PTSD and posttraumatic orientation towards bodily signals. Additionally, Dr. Tsur studies intergenerational transmission of posttraumatic orientation to bodily signals as explained by embodied empathy.
