Short Biography

 

Prof. Nisan Langberg is the Vice Dean at the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University.

His research is focused on Corporate Finance, Corporate Investment, Information Economics, and Financial Accounting. His work has been published in leading journals, such as the Journal of Monetary Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Management Science, The Accounting Review, and the RAND Journal of Economics.

Nisan serves as the Head of The Harel Institute for Actuarial Innovation.

Nisan studied for his Ph.D. in Finance at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and prior to that completed a B.A. in Statistics and Economics and M.A. in Statistics at Haifa University, and M.A. in Economics at the joint program offered by Haifa University and the Technion Institute of Technology.

 

Education

Ph.D. Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management July 2004. Title of dissertation “Entrepreneurial Financing” supervised by Michael Fishman (Chair), Artur Raviv, Bill Rogerson, Annette Vissing-Jorgensen.
