Gai Farchi is a scholar of literature and cultural studies. He currently works on the material turn in the humanities, examining how objects, trash, memory and nostalgia are dealt with in literature through the lens of ecocriticism and posthumanist theory. Gai was a visiting scholar at Université Paris Diderot and NYU. His work has been published in journals such as SubStance and French Studies.
