TAU 2nd in Israel and 255th in the World, in QS World University Rankings 2022
This year's university rankings are QS' largest yet, featuring 1,300 universities from around the world
Tel Aviv University was ranked on second place in Israel, and as number 255 out of a staggering 1,300 universities from around the world in the QS World University Rankings 2022.
The Hebrew University is listed as first in Israel and ranked 198th in the world, followed by TAU listed as 255th in the world and the Technion on third place in Israel and on 330th place internationally.
Methodology
Each institution has been assessed according to six key metrics:
1. Academic Reputation (40%)
2. Employer Reputation (10%)
3. Faculty/Student Ratio (20%)
4. Citations per faculty (20%)
5. International Faculty Ratio (5%)
6. International Student Ratio (5%)
The top five universities are Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (1st place), University of Oxford (2nd place), Stanford University and University of Cambridge (on a shared 3rd place), and Harvard University (5th place).
