TAU’s evening of solidarity with Australia
Help fund the efforts to restore nature and wildlife, on February 3rd at Hangar 11, Tel Aviv Port
We've all heard the reports and seen the devastating photos of the destruction in Australia as a result of recent fires. If you were reading along, asking yourself how you could contribute, we have the perfection opportunity to offer. The Jewish National Fund of Australia, in collaboration with TAU and the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, invites you to a solidarity event with the Australian people. All proceeds from the event will go towards restoring the flora and fauna of the continent.
What’s on the schedule?
Greetings from the President of the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Maj. Gen. (ret.) Ido Nehoshtan (former Air Force Commander) and Tel Aviv University President Prof. Ariel Porat.
Review of damage caused to biodiversity following the fires, and ways to remedy it, by Professor Tamar Dayan of the Department of Zoology at Tel Aviv University, director of the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History and environmental activist.
Creating a collaborative musical piece through public singing, as part of the Koolulam musical social enterprise.
All proceeds will go to WWF's Australian Wildlife & Nature Recovery Fund.
Join us on February 3rd, from 7pm to 11pm, at Hangar 11 at the Tel Aviv Port.
