New Tel Aviv University Friends Association in Ecuador

The Ecuadorian Friends Association was established to promote Tel Aviv University in Ecuador, foster cooperation agreements between TAU and Ecuadorian academic institutions, and bolster student exchange programs. The new Friends Association's board is comprised of Daniel Kersffeld, President; Verónica Guelman, Secretary; José Piedra, Treasurer; Santiago Alejandro, member of the Loja Chapter of the Ecuadorian Friends; and Raquel Katzkowocz, member.

Among those who attended the ceremony were Mr. Touvia Goldstein and Ruth Alvarez de Goldstein, members of the Board of the Spanish Speaking Friends of TAU in Israel who were instrumental in the creation of the new Friends Association, and Ambassador Eliyahu Yerushalmi, Israeli Ambassador to Ecuador.
