Join Now: Cycle to Help Ukrainian Students Come to TAU

Want to help displaced Ukrainian students find a home away from home at Tel Aviv University? Have a bike?  

Join hundreds of TAU friends, students and alumni from around the world in Cycle for Scholarships, a global cycling fundraiser to help raise money for scholarships benefiting Ukrainian students relocating and continuing their studies at TAU. The event will take place April 3-10.  

All proceeds raised will go toward Tel Aviv University's recently-launched emergency fund to support Ukrainian graduate students, whose studies have been halted due to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.

How are the Proceeds Collected? 

The fundraiser depends on online donations from individuals in the amount of their choice. 

Who can Participate? 

Anyone can join from anywhere in the world. TAU students—you can register for free at the link below.

How Can TAU Students Help?

There are three ways TAU students can help make a difference for your Ukrainian counterparts: register to cycle, donate, or spread awareness on social media of the fundraising event. 

Students who register to cycle can bring their registration confirmation to pick up a complimentary Cycle for Scholarships t-shirt the week of March 24-31 at the Student Union service center, located at the entrance to the Mitchell Student Center Building. Most importantly, please help us share the news! To encourage as many people as possible to donate and join the efforts, share photos in your t-shirt and throughout your journey from registration to cycling on Facebook and Instagram by tagging @cycleforscholarships.

I Registered, Now What? 

Participants can choose how and where they want to cycle; there is no designated starting point. Those riding can use the bike of their choice (outdoor or stationary). From there, you can cycle at your chosen location and distance from April 3-10—the same week as fellow TAU supporters around the globe.
