TAU Alumni Organization Celebrates International Women's Day
TAU alumnus and acclaimed Israeli actress Limor Goldstein was special guest of Tel Aviv University's Alumni Organization at a celebratory event held at the Zappa Club in Tel Aviv. Limor shared her inspiring personal story with the captive audience, which had led her to follow her dream of becoming an actress despite her parents' warnings. Guests at the event enjoyed a musical performance by Hashlosharot, an all-girl ensemble of contemporary Israeli artists Aya Korem, Raz Shmueli and Michal Geva.
Attending the event were TAU President Joseph Klafter, Israeli Friends CEO Sigal Adar and TAU Alumni Organization Executive Director Sigalit Ben Hayoun.
The Alumni Organization invites all TAU graduates to celebrate Tel Aviv University's 60th anniversary at a huge campus-wide event to be held on June 6, 2016.
The TAU Alumni Organization was established in May 2015 with the objective of leveraging the influence of TAU alumni, providing professional networking opportunities, and offering services to TAU graduates. Tel Aviv University hopes to extend its role as a backbone of Israeli society by maintaining and nurturing its connections with its 170,000 alumni, many of whom are Israel's economic, cultural and social leaders.
