Communications Giant Visits Tel Aviv University

TAU Honorary Doctor Dr. Irwin Mark Jacobs, co-founder and former chairman of QUALCOMM and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, visited TAU's Iby and Aladar Fleischman Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Jacobs met with key figures at the faculty including its Dean Prof. Yossi Rosenwaks and leading researchers Prof. Shachar Richter and Dr. Uri Nevo. In addition, Dr. Jacobs toured the lab of Dr. Alon Bahabad. Accompanying Dr. Jacobs and his wife Joan were TAU President Joseph Klafter, Vice President for Resource Development Amos Elad and TAU physics professor Yoel Rephaeli.
