European Studies

The students begin their studies with an introductory year, which is taught at the three home universities: Tel Aviv University, Al-Quds University and the Royal Scientific Society. The introductory year in European Studies aims to educate the students about a range of topics essential to comprehending the current situation of the European continent. They also have the chance to complete the Credit Points necessary to be accepted to a German MA degree program.

The optional second year at the Heinrich Heine-University offers the students an opportunity to specialize on a more specific topic and complete their degree. Roughly ten of the highest achieving students in the introductory year will be selected to enroll in the second year program. The final decision concerning enrollment into the second year program is exclusively in the hand of the Heinrich Heine-University.
