European Studies
The project aims to combine academic excellence with cultural exchange. After they have become increasingly separated through politics and borders, students from Israel, Palestine and Jordan are given the chance in the second year program to become acquainted with each other on neutral territory.
The practical meaning of the program lies in the increasing need for Europe experts in the Middle East. This results from the growing ties between the Mediterranean region and the European Union. For a long time, the focus in the Middle East was on the USA alone, and thus the region lacks Europe experts.
The second year program highlights include two excursions to Brussels and Strasbourg, as well as multiple one-day excursions and guest lectures.
