Sharon Dwek joined the clinics as Resource and Project Development Director of the Legal Clinics in 2017 when she moved back to Israel with her family after 13 years abroad.
Sharon comes with over a decade of experience in development, fundraising, community service and marketing, both in Vancouver, Canada and Palo Alto, California. Her most recent position was Development Director of the JCC in Vancouver overseeing the $250M redevelopment process of the JCC land in the heart of Vancouver to allow a mixed-use development that includes a new community center and rental housing.
Sharon worked as Director of Development at King David High School where she managed all fundraising activities and developed programming the area of social and emotional learning (SEL).
Sharon's first role in the Jewish community was San Francisco Jewish Community Federation’s Israel and Overseas Department as the Director of the “Living Bridge” and Jewish Pluralism programs. Sharon is a lawyer by profession and has served as Corporate Counsel and Portfolio Manager for Evergreen Partners, a venture capital firm in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Sharon holds a Master's in Education (M.Ed.) in Human Development Learning and Culture from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Law Degree (LL.B) from the College of Management in Israel
