TAU's Buchmann Faculty of Law #1 outside the US & UK

The Buchmann Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University ranks #31 among 500 law faculties around the world, and #1 in scientific research impact and citations outside of the United States and United Kingdom, according to QS 2013 annual rankings, a key indicator in estimating the quality of academic institutions around the world.

In 2013, internationally-trained lawyers joined the student body as members of the inaugural class of TAU's International LL.M. program. Tel Aviv University's law professors and the Visiting Professors from most prestigious international law schools teach almost 50 courses, workshops and seminars in three specialization tracks designed to explore contemporary challenges to law stemming from processes of globalization, the Israeli legal and social systems, the complexities of the Middle East region, and the technological and entrepreneurial dynamism of the "Start-up Nation." The advanced academic law program focuses on the legal aspects of Global Governance and Human Rights; Technology; and State and Religion.

Through its faculty, students, and alumni, TAU's Buchmann Faculty of Law provides solutions to the world's most complex legal and social challenges. The Faculty's graduates include Israel Supreme Court Judges and Members of Parliament. The Faculty of Law's scholars enjoy national and international recognition for their contributions to virtually every major field of law.
