Offering panoramic vistas of Jerusalem’s Old City, the top floor of Bet Shmuel was the venue for the tenth annual John Gandel Symposium on the Middle East, held in the framework of the Board of Governors meeting. Hundreds of TAU Governors, supporters and friends enjoyed presentations by Deputy Head of the Foreign Ministry, Noam Katz, and by TAU Governor and Chairman of the Board and CEO of Henry Schein, Stanley Bergman. Both presenters addressed the issue of the Boycott Divest and Sanctions movement (BDS) and its implications for Israel. Moderated by TAU Vice President for Resource Development Amos Elad, the symposium ended with a lively Q&A session.
