Amos Oz Marks the New Year at TAU
The internationally acclaimed author was special guest of the Israeli Friends

The Israeli Friends' Business Academic Club hosted TAU Honorary Doctor and Israel Prize laureate Amos Oz at a lively event held in September. The guests were delighted to hear from Oz that his latest book, which in his own words is "a romance that is not historical at all, but rather topical and even provocative," is set for release in the coming months.
Oz fascinated the audience with his thoughts on the process of literary creation. "All great literature is primarily provincial and tells a story about a small place. Even stories about big cities occur in a neighborhood, street, alley and home. The more provincial the story, the greater the chances of it becoming universal," said Oz.
