Prof. Lerner- Geva is a board-certified physician in Epidemiology and Public Health with special emphasis on reproductive epidemiology.

 

Since 2017, Prof. Lerner-Geva is a full professor at the School of public health, Sackler Faculty of medicine, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel. 

 

During the period 2001 - 2020, she was the founder and director of the Women and Children's Health Research Unit at the Gertner Institute for Epidemiology and Health Policy Research (Ltd).

 

Since 2020, Prof. Lerner-Geva is the chair of the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at the School of Public Health. Prof. Lerner-Geva teaches courses in epidemiology, research methods, mother and child epidemiology to medical students, physicians, and masters and Phd students in epidemiology and public health.  

 

Relevant research agenda includes multi center research on short and long-term effects of exposure to assisted reproductive technologies on women and children. Prof. Lerner- Geva is the founder and director of the National Registry for In- Vitro Fertilization treatments in Israel.
