Or Cohen Sasson

Or Cohen-Sasson is a Ph.D. candidate at the Zvi Meitar Center.

His research interests focus on the meeting point of law and technology. Specifically, he addresses issues related to intellectual property, innovation policy, and computational law.

Or published in leading academic journals, including Science, EMBO Reports, Arizona State Law Journal, and Fordham IPLJ.

Or's dissertation explores the informative and communicative aspects of the patent system, suggesting that the patent system does much more than merely incentivize innovation. To investigate this role, he harnesses tools from information theory and communication studies. Or works on this research under the supervision of Prof. Michael Birnhack.
