Dr. Barak did his postdoctoral research at Prof. Guoping Feng’s laboratory at MIT, where he studied the neurobiological mechanisms leading to social behavior abnormalities. He earned his Ph.D. in Neurosciences from the direct program for excellent students in Neurosciences in Tel Aviv University, focusing on the molecular mechanism underlying learning and memory and synaptic plasticity. Prior to his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Barak took part in research projects studying addiction (Weizmann Institute of Science) and learning abilities (Berkeley, University of California).
