International School: Bringing Israeli Expertise to the World
For more than four decades, TAU International, the University’s international school, has introduced some 30,000 accomplished students from all over the world to everything that Israel and Israelis have to offer: academic excellence, technological innovation and cultural treasures.
Today, the school is the biggest and most diversified international studies destination in Israel, with over 2,000 students from 60 countries enrolled annually in short-term and degree programs taught in English, ranging from archaeology to disaster management and electrical engineering. Currently 15 programs are available at the master’s level, with new programs regularly added.
All programs form an integral part of TAU’s drive to share its know-how with the world, strengthen the connection with Israel among young Diaspora Jews, and produce new generations of goodwill ambassadors for Israel.
Recently, TAU initiated a drive to recruit more non-Jewish students to its international programs through its International Diversity Scholarships; the aim is to offer them an authentic and positive perspective of Israel to help combat the BDS movement.
Donors who believe in the power of academic exchange and cultural immersion to forge bonds between Israel and young people from around the world will be interested in supporting TAU International.
