Mexico Turns the Spotlight on TAU Innovation
A TAU delegation comprising President Joseph Klafter; Vice President for Resource Development Amos Elad; Senior Resource Executive for Latin America and Spain Herman Richter; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Yossi Rosenwaks; prominent professors and alumni were invited to participate in Mexico's leading innovation event. The TAU professors presented their research at several lectures open to the general public.
The delegation was warmly hosted by Mexican Friends President Jaime Murow and his wife Betty at an elegant dinner held at his home. Among those attending were TAU Honorary Doctor David Korenfeld; newly appointed Director of Mexico's National Water Commission (CONAGUA) Roberto Ramirez de la Parra; members of the Mexican Friends and TAU supporters. The delegation met with members of the Jewish and business communities at other events, where guests expressed their respect for the high level of innovation at Tel Aviv University, and their enthusiasm to engage in future projects with the University.

As part of the visit, Prof. Klafter met with his contemporaries from Mexico's most prestigious universities to discuss collaborative projects such as student exchange programs.
