Prof. Colin Price, Head of Tel Aviv University’s Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences, treated an intimate gathering of Swiss Friends to a lecture on some of the innovative solutions coming out of TAU. The evening was hosted at the Zurich home of Dr. Michael Rabner and his wife Gabriella, where scholarship funds were raised for Porter School students.

Discussing environmental issues related to mobility, nutrition, energy and water management, Prof. Price shared several success stories from students of the the School. For example, in the coming years, 70 mini-satellites, each no bigger than a shoebox, are set to go into orbit where they will monitor a number of specific environmental factors.
