In its latest survey, PitchBook Data, a leading provider of data and technology to the private equity and venture capital industries, ranked TAU as ninth in the world – and first outside the US – as the best place to graduate from if you want to raise venture capital for a startup.

All other universities on the top list of undergraduate entrepreneurship successes were located in the US, and included institutions such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, MIT, Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania.

According to the report, over the past five years TAU produced 250 undergraduate entrepreneurs – founders or co-founders of startups – who between them started 204 companies. On average, those Israeli startups attracted $1,754,000 in venture capital investments.

In the MBA category, TAU ranked 13th, with graduates starting 80 companies since 2010 and raising $1.12 million per company on average.
