Hong Kong Philanthropist Visits TAU

Visit expands on Tel Aviv University's links with the Far East

Hong Kong businessman, Tony Tam, recently visited TAU and was hosted by Meir Buber and Gill Rosner of the Development and Public Affairs Division.

 

A lover of Israel and the Jewish people, Mr. Tam is active in promoting Israel through a variety of activities including in manufacturing, trading, tourism, and business conferences. 

 

At TAU, Mr. Tam met with Rector Aron Shai, founder of the Department of East Asian Studies; Prof. Ron Margolin, Head of Ofakim, a teacher’s training program in cultural Judaism; and with nano-chemist, Dr. Yuval Ebenstein of the Raymond and Beverly Sackler School of Chemistry.
