Canadian Friends Talk Brain Trauma Treatment

Soryl and Gibby Rosenberg warmly welcomed over fifty TAU friends and supporters to their home to meet Dr. Shai Efrati of TAU's Sackler Faculty of Medicine. Irwin Beutel, President of CFTAU Montreal and Eastern Region, kicked off the evening and spoke about the University’s latest achievements. Soryl Rosenberg introduced Dr. Efrati, who then went on to present his compelling research on treating traumatic brain injury with hyperbaric therapy. The evening concluded with a lovely dessert reception. Among the guests were Alexandre Abecassis, representing young Montreal leadership; Lois and Dr. Bernard Shapiro, former Principal and Vice Chancellor of McGill University, who thanked Dr. Efrati and the Rosenberg’s for generously hosting the evening; and Dr. William Steinman, who is currently leading the Montreal Alpha Omega campaign for the TAU Maurice and Gabriela Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine.
