Boaz was born in Jerusalem to French parents, and he’s lived the last 4-5- years in Tel Aviv. This is his last year in the prestigious Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPC) degree. Boaz wants to be a political advisor and already has massive experience in the field.

On October 7th Boaz, who is an “alum” of an elite special commando team of the emergency evacuation unit in the Nahal brigade was mobilized. He was in Gaza from October 31st to January 20th. “Nahal suffered heavy losses during the war, with over 100 injured soldiers—unfortunately, many of them did not survive.”

Upon his release, Boaz found the routine extremely challenging. “It was very difficult to readjust to the rhythm of regular life and to find meaning in little things, such as answering emails or reading articles, while knowing that fighting is still going on and the hostages have not been freed.”

Boaz wants to create a life of meaning in public service, realizing that this is an especially challenging goal in today’s world. “I got a lot of help from the University. All of the professors were really understanding and made a lot of adjustments that made things easier for me. Warms the heart.”
