Registration opens for TAU "Middle East" online class
"The Emergence of the Modern Middle East" will be taught by TAU professor Asher Susser via Coursera.org.

Starting March 18th, 2014, Professor Asher Susser will be teaching students all over the world about the emergence of the modern Middle East, via online learning website Coursera. This will be the third online course Tel Aviv University has offered since partnering up with Coursera, and as with previous courses, all TAU students and members of the TAU community are encouraged to register and broaden their knowledge of the subject.
16,000 students have already registered for "The Emergence of the Modern Middle East". The course requires no prerequisites and offers a chance to deepen one's understanding of the Middle East and gain a new perspective on current events.
