Research

Behavioral Sciences in Dentistry

Our group specializes particularly in the field of behavioral sciences in dentistry including clinical hypnosis, oro-related behavioral dysfunctions, psycho-physiological aspects of acute and chronic pain, and stress in clinical and other settings. Additionally we study the syndromes of TMD, Awake and Sleep bruxism (Diagnosis, treatment,special population, etc.).

  2. Oro-related behavioral dysfunctions (dental fear, anxiety and phobia, excessive gagging reflex)
  3. Chronic orofacial pain and TMD
  4. Awake and Sleep bruxism
