Born in Israel and educated in Israel, Singapore and the USA (B.Sc. Liberal Arts, New York), Orly Fromer is currently an Advisor to the President of Tel-Aviv University & Director of Academic Relations and Business Development in Asia.

Orly Fromer brings a diverse background, managing experience and proven track record in successful media and entrepreneurship.

Orly has served for 40 years as a Media Consultant and Spokesperson for various institutions in Israel, Singapore and the USA. Orly has served as a Director of Media Relations and a Spokesperson of Tel Aviv Univesrsity and a Director of Media relations of Dan David Prize (14 years), a Director of International Relations and Information Department at the Israel Chambers of Commerce. She served as a Director of "Special Projects Department" of A.Z.Y.F. in New-York, USA and as a Director of Media Relation of Beit Berl (An educational institute affiliated with the Israeli Labor party). When she lived in Singapore she was a Representative of Hayom Hazeh. She started her careere as an Officer at the Israeli Air Force and served as a Director of Media Relations and Spokesperson

As an Advisor to the President of Tel Aviv University and Director of Academic Relations and Business Development in Asia Orly has developed, since 2012, the Business and academic infrastructure of TAU in Asia focusing on China, Singapore and enhanced the academic relations with top leading Universities, government offices and business community especially in CHINA and Singapore.

As a result of these activities TAU accomplished academic agreements with top universities in Asia, the number of Asian students studying in TAU rose tremendously, joint research centers were founded, workshops and research collaboration enhanced dramatically and top business people graduated from our Executive Education programs.
