Travel scholarships to China: call for applications
TAU graduate students are invited to submit applications for travel scholarships to Tsinghua University in China.
Tsinghua University, one of the top universities in China, has joined forces with Tel Aviv University to create a new joint research center. The XIN center will begin functioning independently around September of 2014. Currently Center activities are being managed by the Tel Aviv University Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
Tel Aviv University graduate students are now invited to submit applications for travel scholarships to Tsinghua University. This call is intended for students working with PIs affiliated with the Tel Aviv University Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
The Scholarship will cover travel expenses and accommodations in Beijing as well as a per-diem allowance to cover meals. The stay at Tsinghua University is to be no shorter than 2 weeks.
Applications should include:
- Student’s CV.
- A concise research proposal outlining the work to be conducted during the visit (1 page).
- A letter of recommendation by the student’s advisor at TAU.
- A letter of invitation from the hosting researcher at Tsinghua University.
