MA in Archaeology and History of the Land of the Bible

This M.A. degree, and a credit program for Ph.D. students, is the only one of its kind in Israel, providing an exclusive window into the country's perplexing and complex past and using the most up-to-date scientific tools to study the archaeology and history of ancient Israel.

 

MA in Conflict Resolution and Mediation

This one-year Masters offers the opportunity to study the fundamentals of international conflict resolution at its core. In response to the ever-increasing recognition in the academic world of the importance of conflict resolution, both as a credible research field and a field of practice, we intend to equip our students with the necessary academic and practical tools to assess, manage and resolve conflicts.

 

EMPH - Masters in Public Health Program in Emergency & Disaster Management

The EMPH program offers students from around the world the opportunity to study Emergency & Disaster Management in English.  Our program is unique in its interdisciplinary and forward thinking approach to emergency and disaster management.  This program integrates academic study, managerial abilities and practical knowledge based on best practice experience to meet the complex needs of our world today, as well as plan for the future.

 

MA in Environmental Studies

The Program provides international candidates with an intensive multidisciplinary insight into environmental studies with an emphasis on Israel's unique geographic and geopolitical setting. It takes place over one year (3 semesters) and is full time.

 

MA in Jewish Studies

The program offers a series of comprehensive encounters with the classical texts of Jewish cultures from biblical to modern times. Its intellectual home in the department of Hebrew Culture Studies at Tel Aviv University, the single largest integrative Jewish Studies department in the world today, enables us to cover a wide range of periods, methodologies, and scholarly interests, while maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence.

 

MA in Migration Studies

Migration Studies offers an interdisciplinary and comprehensive look into the world of migration from a global and local perspective. It is the only university program focusing on migration in Israel, and one of a small number in the neighboring Middle East. The aim of this program is to give students the theory, tools and experience firsthand to be able to pursue careers in various fields including public policy, international affairs, politics, research, academia, and non-profits.

 

MA in Middle Eastern Studies

This program is designed for international students interested in careers pertaining to the Middle East in the fields of journalism, diplomacy, government, policy research, and advocacy/activism. Students are provided with an invaluable opportunity to acquire an in-depth understanding of the political, social and economic dimensions of the region, from within. Located in the prestigious Department of Middle Eastern and African History at Tel Aviv University, the program boasts some of the most renowned Middle East experts in the world today.

 

MA in Political Science in Action: Leadership, Communication and Elections

This program provides students with deep and comprehensive knowledge of the dynamics and complexities of politics in the global age, in a world characterized by growing fusion between leadership, communication and elections. The program provides a broad comparative perspective of the challenges of leaders in the communicative age, and their relations with voters' expectations throughout their term and especially in election times.

 

MA in Security and Diplomacy

The program provides advanced knowledge and analytical tools for the study of strategy, diplomacy, decision-making and the shaping of security and foreign policy. The outlook of the program is global, with a special focus on Israel and the Middle East. At the practical level, the program prepares students for engagement in the international arena, defense bodies, international organizations (both governmental and NGOs) and international economic organizations.

 

MA in Social Work with specialization in Crisis and Trauma Studies

Israel is a living laboratory for research and practice in stress, crisis, and trauma. Over the years, Israeli scholars and practitioners have developed considerable knowledge and models of intervention in these areas. Our academic staff has been at the forefront of these developments. Sofaer International MBA

Designed for Israeli and international students, the Sofaer International MBA is an intensive one-year general MBA  program that reflects the energy, creativity and pace of the world’s start-up capital.  Most Sofaer students begin their MBA studies after 4 years of work experience.  Many speak more than one language and have lived and/or worked in more than one country.

 

International LL.M.

Designed for international students who have already earned their first degree in law, the International LL.M. degree is a one-year advanced academic degree with three specialization options: Law, Global Governance & Human Rights; Law, State & Religion; and, Law & Technology. Classes explore contemporary challenges to law that stem from the processes of globalization to specific courses on the Israeli legal and social systems, the complexities of the Middle East region and the legal aspects of the “Start-up Nation.”

 

MA in TESOL -Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages
